CLUB NEWS

The official work party dates are as listed below, and we ask that all members attending work parties MUST book in with either Michael Errett (01403 261107 evening 7pm to 10pm) or Fullers Tackle Shop (01306 882177 ONLY between 9am & 5pm Mon to Fri)  Please bring your own tools, e.g., spade, fork, scythe, sledge hammer, rope, bow saw, gloves, hammer, waders, any pruning tools.   MAY Sun 4th, Sat 10th  JUNE Sun 1st

 

Do not leave valuables in or on vehicles whilst fishing at any of our venues.

 
 Remember Rod licences expire on 31st March each year. For an instant licence,24 hours a day, go online at www.environment-agency.gov.uk/rodlicence  (Not at present available to disabled or OAP's) Disabled anglers can get their rod licence at half price. You need to produce a Blue Badge or a copy of your current award letter at the Post Office.
 
The National Trust have advised us that they will not be renewing our fishing rights to Forwents Pond for the foreseeable future.
 

   East Europeans are reported to be netting rivers. Please immediately contact Andrew Fuller during shop hours or either John Pocock or John Fooks if you see anyone on our waters.  Telephone numbers on Membership Card.

 

REMEMBER No unhooking mat means no fishing. All venues. 

 

If you see signs of fish dying or in distress on any of our waters, please e-mail secretary@dorkingas.co.uk immediately
