A Member reported that his car was broken into at the Stepping Stones car park. It is thought the target was his satellite navigation. Do not leave any articles in, or on the roof, of your car when parking at any of our venues.


STEPPING STONES There is now a £2 fee for parking in the car park, unless you are a National Trust Member who can park for free.


NORTH BANK ENTRANCE Please be careful not to obstruct the driveway, and for safety reasons the view of the road, for any vehicles using the drive. Where possible it would be appreciated if you would park on the other side of the bus stop.


NORBURY PARK Beware of large Bull in Car Park. May damage car by leaning on it. Park at your own risk. You have been warned.

The National Trust have advised us that they will not be renewing our fishing rights to Forwents Pond for the foreseeable future.

REMEMBER No unhooking mat means no fishing. This applies to all venues.

For an instant licence,24 hours a day, go online at www.environment-agency.gov.uk/rodlicence (Disabled concession is available to anglers in receipt of a Blue Badge or Disability Living Allowance. You will need to provide your Blue Badge Number or National Insurance Number when buying your licence)


The Environment Agency have appealed for anglers to KILL ON SIGHT the American Signal Crayfish which are eating young fish and destroying their habitat.


If you see signs of fish dying or in distress on any of our waters, please telephone Andrew Fuller (during shop hours) 01306 882177 immediately.


East Europeans are reported to be netting rivers. Please immediately contact Andrew Fuller during shop hours or either John Pocock or John Fooks if you see anyone on our waters. Telephone numbers on Membership Card.


We have had a complaint. Fishing line was left on the bank which a dog managed to get entangled in. Since then line has been found on three more occasions. Please. Do not leave anything behind when leaving.
